Windows 10 will Officially Retire in 2025!
First, the choice is obviously downloading Windows 11 but, let me stop you there for a minute. Have any of you getting the dreaded message in your Windows 10 update window stating you CAN’T upgrade to Windows 11!!! Well, I am right with you! What really upsets me as I have a custom build Windows PC! It wasn’t cheap making this custom rig! Now I have to spend MORE MONEY $$$$!
Sadly yes, you have to spend more money and there is a way to install Windows 11 on your old CPU but I don’t recommend it because you might run into a Blue Screen of death and driver issues and well more issues than it is worth the risk.
Here are your options get a new CPU and Motherboard and just use everything else in your custom Rig. If you have an old GPU like me then sadly you will need a new GPU card as well. The cost can range from 300 to 700 dollars!
First, began with the CPU and decide whether you want to do AMD or Intel. Personally, I am sick and tired of Intel so I might be going with AMD for the next upgrade.
