Theme: "Learning of Lasting Peace"

Lasting Peace for me starts with working together. I find organizations around the world aiming to bring the world together to be crucial. The Internet has the power to connect many people around the world and if people learn to understand each other it can be a road map to lasting peace.

Medium is a great example of this road map to lasting peace. People come here to share ideas and share positive vibes as well as thoughts on how to create a more peaceful existence. People come and go, agree and disagree, and try to have an engaging dialogue here. Sometimes we are in conflict but in the end, we understand or try to understand each other. Platforms like Medium can promote places where people can share ideas and hopefully start movements that can eventually start to impact the world into a better place.

Sadly, in the world of politics, people don't seem to be learning about lasting peace. They are stuck in their ways and ideals being blinded to the pain caused by the destruction of their short sights and egotistical worldviews. Most governments are formed by people who are selfish for their gain and not for the good of the people. First forming a place where people in power can start to share ideas instead of tearing them down would be a start to lasting peace.

However, it is unfortunate that I hear news of inspiring politicians, people of influential power, who are fully for the people being targeted, silenced, and persecuted is painful indeed.

This brings me to "International Day of Education" Our past generations are done and we haven't probably done a good job including my generation. but the future is up to the current and upcoming generations. All we can do is to teach the current and upcoming generation about sharing ideas, working together, not falling into the dark world of egotistical ruling and war but to live in harmony together and come together as one humanity working together to build a better world and future for all. Teaching children of today who will be leaders of tomorrow the right way to build governments and the right way to lead humanity to a brighter future.

For this day, I pray that a world of understanding and peace will come starting with us right now trying to spread as much positivity and goodness in this world, and through that, we are given strength by other people giving goodness and positivity. Because goodness and positivity bores more goodness and positivity and it goes on.
