Social Media has now become the new norm. Everyone is on their smartphones and literally neck-deep in the world of social media. But what if social media never came into existence? What if instead of social media, social mixing was a thing? To me, Social mixing is people gathering and exchanging ideas and passion usually in face-to-face interaction.
What if people instead of spending hours and hours on their smartphones, went out and saw the world and spend time with people? Wouldn’t that be such a wonderful world? Social Media has been shaping our world for ages.
The majority of the people back in the good ole days use to do a lot of in-person interaction. Even before this whole pandemic, you see so many people in-person spending time and having dates. Sadly, this pandemic has fueled the beast in Social Media and has literally made Social Mixing a thing of the past.
I hope we can see a future where Social Mixing is more of the norm than Social Media. I hope we can all be more close and interact with each other by exchanging ideas, beliefs, and passion.
