My Life…My Love…My Grandmother!
I want to take my time to honor my Grandmother! She was my life, love, and the world! She taught me at a young age to live life and to always love! She never spites anyone. Even to people that did wrong to her. She always told me to forgive.
I remember once we went to an Apple Orchard and we were speaking in our native tongue. Then a elder lady came up and shouted “SPEAK ENGLISH!!!” I was about to tell the elder women we have the right to speak in our native tongue and that we weren’t some dumb people that couldn’t speak English! I was lit and furious. But my Grandmother gently hold my arm and said it is ok don’t get mad.
I was always taught to care for others and help others. To love my family and care for my family. If there was someone who truly understood what love meant it was my Grandmother. To this day I live by her teaching of forgiveness and love. My Grandmother and Grand Uncle always told me I will end up doing a job that involved helping others. They were both right! I am currently working as an I.T guy and I always try to care deeply for each and every one of my building family members. It is thanks to my family's teachings.
I want to take the time to honor your Grandmother as well! I bet you had someone in your life that you want to take time to thank and always remember and celebrate their life!
