Intro
I was in need of good Studio Monitors without breaking the bank!
Why JBL 1 Series 104 Speakers?
The capsule design is to love for and also to hate. I love the capsule design cause it looks minimal and doesn’t take up much space compared to the box design. The sound is projected really well! I also dislike it cause it is hard to grab onto and moving it around is a pain. The round top is hard to get a grip on and I end up grabbing the back tweeter outlet to move it around which looks janky. I do love the sound. I have it connected to my Korg D1 piano and it sounds wonderful. I was lucky to get these on sale at Sweetwater so if you want you can check it out!
Final Thoughts!
If I have to add anything it is speaker wires. I wish they were RCA audio cables or aux cables but that only is the case for upper and high-end studio monitors. But for what it’s worth these capsule studio monitors aren’t so bad! Also, you can now get the upgrade version of the speakers I have. They Now have Bluetooth Functions!!!
