How Rubber Band Innovation Brings Happiness to the Work Place.
So, it has been day one of my Rubber Band Hoop Challenge at work and well it was a major success!
I had two work studies that started getting serious about this game and one of them is in the lead with 6 points and the other is right on his tail with 5 points. The one with 5 points did an amazing feat today. She flung the rubber band and it hooked on the door handle and tied itself! I was shocked. If I didn’t see it happen I would have never believed it. The one with the 6 points almost did the impossible and actually almost hooked the rubber band on the thumb tack! That too I would have never believed it if I had not seen it.
My boss later joined and she almost made it in but didn’t make the goal. She by far is the closest to making it in. My other two colleagues joined in and the whole office was beaming with laughter and fun. In our other two work studies, one of them made it to 4 points and the other started his journey on the scoreboard with no points but I see greatness in him.
It is truly amazing how such a simple idea and innovation can bring such happiness to me and my fellow teammates and our work studies. I will be keeping tabs every week and tallying…
