I remember the dial-up age and grew up with no social media presence. I never got into social media because I was more of a face-to-face type of guy. I never understood social media and to this day still don’t have much social media presence. Here are the social media websites I have that I use Medium for. My YouTube Channel link is below:
That is the only social media I have that is linked to my Medium account. I have no social media other than YouTube for my Medium. My social media presence is near to non-existent. So, the question comes how did I ever reach 1K Medium Followers?!
How did I reach 1K Followers on Medium?
I have a community. My Medium Family! I have written to this day 2449 responses! That is a lot of engagement with my fellow Medium family. I usually read at least one article per person I follow or anyone who decides to interact with me in any way. This interaction can come as a clap, highlight, comment, or follow. Any interaction I get from the person I tend to follow and read and comment. This has gotten me this far. I know it is a lot of work and you probably read a lot of “how to do this” articles. I am not going to sugarcoat this. It is a lot of work and it is extremely hard to reach 1K without social media. But it is possible. It took me a little past 1 year but I made it! I never thought I would break through the 1K ceiling this early on in my journey but I did it and so can you!
