Hello Eiman when it comes to politics I try my darn hardest to stay independent. But, if I may share my thoughts about the matter of democracy is this.
Everyone has the right to vote but the most concerning part is everyone is affected by their belief. Meaning some government has parties and political groups. This in return may change what people believe and how to vote. Here in the US, we have two main political parties the Democrats and Republicans. There are many other parties but sadly most of them are not mentioned that much in the political world that I know of. Please Note: I do not in any way shape or form think Democrats and Republicans are wrong. I am Independent and take no sides.
I wish people were taught to think for themselves to never choose one side but to choose the person that can lead the nation with the people in mind no matter the political party they are in. Everyone who votes should only vote on the representative that truly represents the people. Sadly, in my humble opinion, there aren't many leaders out there. They just care about their political party and the agenda of their political party and agenda. Finding someone worthy of a vote is the hardest part.
So, to answer your question about the right to vote is to teach people to look into the character and to vote for someone despite their political party the right person that will lead the nation with fairness.
But, again this is a pipe dream in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing this Eiman.
