Hello Britt, I pray for your comfort. I get stressed when I have people sometime come up in their car and start blaring their speakers. I have ten built into my van so each time someone decides to show off their speakers by blaring I give them a slight taste and they usually turn it off. So, I too don't like loud noises.
I don't know if this is a help. But, I heard of headphones that help with loud noise and protect your hearing while letting you hear the outside world so it will be safe for you.
