First, let me start off by saving thank the Lord you are ok Henery! My when I read you were train hopping I was like this is not going to be good. I am glad you didn't seriously get hurt and this became a life lesson.

For some reason this reminded me about a story.

I was young and of course a complete fool. My father told me not to bike near the edge of the trail and me being the fool I did it anyway to show off my balancing skills. Well, I don't remember much but falling off the side of the trail which felt like a cliff and I fell on jagged rocks. My body hit the rock and my head hit the pointed rocks. Thank God I had the brains to have a helmet on. Actually, my parents made me wear it thus saved my bacon.

So, I was blessed and the helmet saved my head from splitting so I am here today and I tell you I never ever ride my bike anywhere near the edge of anything dangerous anymore.
