It was a normal day at work and I was at my meeting. When I saw our work studies playing with the rubber band. They were trying to see if they could shoot the rubber band and have it hook to the thumb tack picture below.
This all started with my previous teammate. He will always shoot rubber bands at his door trying to hook them onto the thumb tack. This started the whole trend of the Rubber band Thumb Tack game. The Thumb Tack is narrow and barely holds the rubber band so flinging the rubber band to the board and seeing if the rubber band hooks onto the thumb tack is nearly impossible in my opinion.
So, why would they try it? Why would they attempt to do something nearly impossible? Because they believe they can do the impossible. But, let's be honest there are some things in life that just can’t be done. If some crazy incident happens that is once in a lifetime occurrence.
But, I thought for a hard second and thought of an idea! Instead of endless hope of making the miracle happen and then failing endlessly why not make it possible for them to play the same game but add a goal that is attainable?
So, I secured a solo plastic disposable red cup on the board and a sheet with rules.
