Animate Stories? Well, Tom if you want honest truth that is madly brilliant my friend! Truly wonderful idea. If it can be done this will be a wonderful journey for you Tom. You got some pretty good software listed. As I see you use Adobe I recommend Audition it is not bad for audio DAW software. If you want to get fancy I recommend something like Ableton Live or Pro Tools they are all wonderful DAW for Audio editing.
