To be honest you pointed out something real. My nationality is in threat of extinction just because we are not having kids. The problem is the support system for parents there is no government support, no maternity leave and to make things worse it is hard to manage finance. It is actually better in my workplace. A mother gets 3 months of maternity leave if you have worked for more than an year! That is a sweet deal sadly men parental leave is like 1 or 2 months but still that is way better than most. Maybe working for a university might be a good way for you since you are an teacher. I wish you the best in your motherhood journey.
