Hello Medium! Just want to say hello and want to let you all know I have reached 6 years of working as an I.T Help Desk Technician and the craziest thing is I still love my job~!
I always loved helping people and helping people with Technology is what I truly love doing. I know I can’t help everyone but for the ones I do help I am so blessed and for the ones I couldn’t help leads to another chance to help them another time.
The beauty of being an I.T Help Desk Technician is all the people you meet. I am truly blessed to have no enemies, no sour people, and NO negative people making my work day hell. I am truly blessed to work with amazing people and everyone loves me and I truly love everyone at my university. I am so glad I can able to work face-to-face with amazing people and I look forward to working with my beloved I.T Family for the years to come.
Small parting thought. Do what you love. Pay may not be good and your Dream job may not be a 6 figure gig. But, if you love what you do doesn’t matter what the pay is you will enjoy working every day. Of course, they will be days and I have plenty when you fill exhausted but the difference between a job you love and hate is the job you love you will always bounce back up.
