I started Medium on May 1st, 2022. This was the first Article I wrote back then. “How My Life Changed! Forever!!!” It has nearly been 7 Months journey and I want to share with you what I felt and how I changed during this amazing journey on Medium! Literally, My Life Changed Forever!
I remember trying to write on Medium to get on the Passive Income train and starting May 1st, 2022 it seems like it will take me forever to get to 100 followers. I just wanted to see and of course, back then knowing nothing much about Medium wrote the first Article about how I got my I.T Dream job! I thought I was going to get a couple of followers by the end of the week but I got nothing it took maybe a week until my first follower came. GanttPRO Gantt chart maker was my first ever follower and I was thrilled! This Medium writer probably didn’t know but to me this was amazing! I felt like there was someone out there that kind of understood my thoughts and interests and it started my amazing Medium journey! I started writing more and more articles and I saw people starting after me reaching 100 in a matter of days to weeks but I was far from it. But something strange happened on my journey to 100 Followers! But strangely enough, I wasn’t in a hurry.
I started to write so many articles it just became my routine and for some reason, Medium became a very therapeutic activity. When I was little I was told to write journals and daily entries at school and at home. I wrote all my life and writing here at Medium I had no idea I would have met so many awesome people! I just thought about reaching 100 followers and that was it but the more I wrote and commented and connected with my fellow Medium Family the closer I grew to appreciating and loving all of these amazing writers and how much beauty and wonderful ideas they bring to us all! My 100th Follower Nick Collins was the last to make me reach the 100 Follower mark. Thanks, Nick Collins and for your support!
Right now I feel amazing not because of the 100 Followers but because there are 100 people that care about what I write about not only that but I grew so much as a person and also as a writer. To be honest I am still a greenhorn and not even close to some of my follower's caliber. But, the beauty is here at Medium I have so far met wonderful people that just appreciated what I thought of and wrote down and also the songs I shared. I have no words for my thanks and the best part is, this is just the beginning! I look forward to the new year to come and in 2023 I will try to bring you all my sincere sharing of my life, idea, and some good stories.
